I am a newly minted Bostonian and HubSpotter. I’m also an alumna of Smith College, where I majored in English and minored in Computer Science. I am interested in creative computing, community creation, and the intersections between art, technology, and human interaction. Lately I’ve been obsessing over human-to-human recommendations (book recommendations, movie recommendations, restaurant recommendations, etc) and their value in comparison to algorithmically generated recommendations. This is related to larger thoughts I have on communities and the internet. This blog is a collection of the things that light me up and set my mind whirling.
